Abstract
This research has been carried in Ankara and Konya at research fields to identify maize genotypes wihch can tolerate to low degrees of temperatures at early developing stages. Samples has been used in the research were collected from regions where early planting of maize is risky and/or growing period is not sufficient. Data obtained from experiments carried on various stages of the samples were evaluated and variations determined for tasseling, maturity and number of kernel rows per ear. These samples resist to 4.8 o C at early developing stage and they are relatively early maturing. Genotypes will select from these samples can be use for variety development for the region.
