Abstract
This study was carried out in Kahramanmaras ecological condition in 1994 and 1995. In this study soybean cv "P. 9442" and "AP 240" were planted at 50, 60 and 70 cm row spaces, and 3, 5 and 7 cm intrarow seed spaces, and the effects of sowing densities on yield and yield components were investigated. The effects of row spaces on numberof branches per plant and, 100 seed weigth, yield per da, and kernel ratio, were significant in both years , on plant height, branche number per plant and yield per da were significant in both years, on branch number per plant, yield per plant and oil content were significant only in one year. The effects of intrarow seed spaces on number branches per plant, yield per plant, and yield per da were significant in both years, while on plant height, first pod height, pod number per plant and oil content were significant only in one year. Meanwhile the effects of intrarow seed spaces on 100 seed weight and protein content were not significant. The highest yield was obtained from 50x3 cm plant density of (325.1, 490.8 and 302.8, 386.2 kg/da) in two years 1994 and 95 from "P. 9442" and "AP 240" cv respectively.
