Abstract
This research is related to color change effects of cellulosic, synthetic, polyurethan and acid catalized varnishes on the wood surfaces such as oak (Quercus s pp), beech (Fagus orientaJis L.), castanea (Castanea sativa M.), and pine (Pinus siJvestris L.) panels which were both varnishes and woods widely used in furnutire industry. Most of varnishes have color changing effects on the samples and the test results showed that synthetic varnish have the strongest effect.
