Abstract
In this review, antisense RNA technology that is a new technique was presented. The mechanism of antisense regulation was discussed by giving various hypothesis. Regulations of bacterial and plant genes in plants were presented with related references. The importance of antisense RNA to improve quality of crop plants was discussed. It was concluded that antisense technology had a great potential for creating useful mutations in plants.
