A new species of zerconid mite, Zercon istanbulensis sp. nov. (Acari, Mesostigmata, Zerconidae), from İstanbul Province of Turkey

Abstract

In the present study, a new species of zerconid mite, Zercon istanbulensis sp. Nov., is described from İstanbul Province, Turkey. Description of the species is based on adults of both sexes and deutonymphs. Illustrations of the female, male, and deutonymph stage are also provided.
