Abstract

One specimen of Chalcides ocellatus was found in the village of Görümlü, Silopi, Şırnak, southeastern Anatolia. It was examined in terms of morphometric, pholidotic, and coloration pattern characteristics. The distribution of Chalcides ocellatus was expanded to the eastern part of Turkey, an addition of around 235 km air distance, with this study.
