A Taxonomical Study on the Cladocera and Copepoda Species (Crustacea) of Mert, Erikli, Hamam, Pedina Lakes (İğneada/Kırklareli)

Abstract

In this study, the species of Cladocera and Copepoda in the Mert, Erikli, Hamam and Pedina lakes located in the region of İğneada/ Kırklareli were determined during the period of April 1993-May 1994. Results show that the study area is represented with a total of 32 Cladocera and 19 Copepoda species. Of these, Ceriodaphnia megops (Cladocera) is a new record for Turkey.
