Reproductive Biology of Glis glis orientalis (Nehring, 1903) (Rodentia: Gliridae) in Turkey

Abstract
In this study, the reproductive biology of Glis glis orientalis (Nehring, 1903) has been investigated based on 8 females and their own 46 young in captivity. It was determined that the newborn of G. g. orientalis were born at an average weight of 3.4 g., the ears opened on 12-13 days, the eyes on 20 days, the fur developed on the 14th day and weaning took place at the end of the 5th week, that they began to feed freely on 30 days and became free on 40-43 days.
