In this study histological and histochemical characteristics of the stomach of brook trout (Salmo trutta macrostigma) and rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) were investigated that have been taken into consideration to forms of feeding of these species. On the research, the number of 10 each samples which is belonging to two species that have been taken from median with nearby regions to oesophagus and intestine were used as a material. Histologically at the stomach of two species have consist of cardia, fundus and pylorus region were determined. At the Lamina propria and submucosa of the rainbow trout to widen were observed while more wide to be the tunica muscularis on brook trout was observed and that occur only from circular muscle layer. Histochemically Lamina epithelialis of fundus region on brook trout has been contained rather concentrate of neutral and acidic mucous substances were determined. The Lamina propria glandulae have not been mucous substances were determined.
