Abstract
In this study, the morphological and cytological characteristics of Balantidium elongatum and B. duodeni which live endocommensally in the digestive system of amphibians have been examined by using various techniques. We tried to determine the similarities and differences of our findings by comparing with previous investigations on Balantidium and some other protozoans.
