Abstract

In our research, the effect of UVB radiation on the amounts of Ca^{++}, inorganic P(Pi), K^+, Na^+, Mg^{++} , Cl^- in serums of 22 week- old Wistar-Albino rats was investigated. UVB radiation was applied to trial group animals at dosages used for treatment (4 J/ cm^2) for a period of 4 weeks.The blood samples were taken before the ray application as the control group. At the end of one month there was no change in the amounts of Pi, K^+, Mg^{++} but the level of serum -Ca^{++} increased significantly (P
