Abstract
Aim of the study was to investigate feed value, quality of silages produced by ensiling mixtures of poultry manure with apple pomace, dried sugar beet pulp and tomato pulp. It has been determined that the quality of apple pomace, dried sugar beet pulp, tomato pulp and poultry manure mixture silages were good and did not include pathogen microorganisms of the levels detrimental to animals health. In addition to this dry matter digestibility 54.96, 76.16 and 52.23%; organic matter digestibility 61.92, 78.40 and 54.39%; crude protein digestibility 60.88, 77.97 and 66.10%; crude fat digestibility 45.01, 74.44 and 78.10%; crude cellulose digestibility 25.30, 73.64 and 24.85%; nitrogen free extract matters digestibility 92.09, 85.69 and 83.20%; metabolic energy contents of the silages were determined as 2079.78, 2356.06 and 1507.13 Kcal/kg respectively.
