Abstract
A study was conducted to determine the effects of hen's age on the egg quality. The correlation between quality characteristics and the difference among quality characteristics due to hen age were also studied. Results obtained from this study indicated that age of hen significantly affected the egg quality variables measured. As the hen age increased, egg weight, yolk width, albumen width and albumen lenght were increased while shell strenght, shell thickness, yolk index, albumen index, yolk height, albumen height and Haugh unit were decreased.
