Abstract
We are motivated to investigate the dynamics of scalar field dark energy proposals and focus on the reconstruction of a scalar field problem in a D-dimensional framework. With this purpose, we implement a correspondence between the tachyonic scalar field formulation and the additional dimensional cosmological scenario. Such connections help us to redefine the extra dimensional dynamics of the selected scalar field prescription.
