Abstract
In this study, the massless and massive spin-1 particle equations, derived from the excited states of the zitterbewegung model, are considered for the photon in the cylindrical resonant cavity background. The resonant frequencies of the particles are also obtained. We show that these frequencies become equivalent in the $M^{2}\to 0$ limit.
