Relations Between Av and N(HI) for 14 Chosen Directions

Abstract

We used the data of 125 stars in the catalogs of Diplas and Savage [5] and Fruscione et al. [7] to find some relations between optical absorption, Av and column density of neutral hydrogen, N(HI). Such relations were chosen for 14 regions with small angular sizes ( 2-3 kpc.
