Abstract
Research on the frequency dependence of the conductivity, f(\sigma), of compositions based on glass and cadmium oxide has shown that a multiplet model of \sigma governs samples with low cadmium oxide content at low frequencies and in samples with higher content, at the same frequencies, \sigma does not depend on frequency. At higher frequencies, \sigma abruptly increases. The composition's conductivity at high frequencies is described in terms of a pair model. The experimental results of frequency dependence of \sigma in the frequency range 10^2 to 10^7 Hz are compared to theoretical calculations of the models mentioned above.
