Modelling of Ferroelectric and Improper Ferroelectric Phase Transitions
This study presents two sublattice model (Dvorak-Ishibashi model) which describes a ferroelectric phase transition, and also the Dvorak and Levvanyuk-Sannikov models for the improper ferroelectric phase transition. By modifying these models, the polarization and the susceptibility have been derived as a function of temperature for the paraelectric-ferroelectric and isomorphous phase transition. The expressions derived for the polarization and the susceptibility have been fitted to the experimental data given in the literature. Our model predictions are in good agreement with the experiments.
