Frustration and its Importance in Magnetic Phase Transitions
Abstract
Some of real materials show a host of first order antiferromagnetic phase transition [1-8]. This is a very interesting behavior especially in first transition metal alloys. Experimental and theoretical studies showed that these transition occur only in \gamma--structured alloys [9-14]. Theoretically we will show that these transitions are due to the frustrations, since it leads to more than one ground state spin structures.
