Temperature Dependence of Liquefaction Heat for Refractory Metals

Abstract
Liquefaction-heat dependence of melting temperature has been investigated for refractory metals. The ratio between liquefaction-heat and temperature was found to be 2.27\pm 0.04 and -2.32\pm 0.03 cal/mole.K for body- centered cubic (bcc) and face-centered cubic (fcc) metals, respectively.
