Coupled Power Equations For Analysis of Optical Fibers Used with Satellite Communication Systems
Fiber optic cables are the most appropriate for facilitating communication among satellite communication systems. This article presents the analysis of multimode irregular optical fibers. Coupled power equations are used to investigate the unsteady state power distribution in the optical fiber. The signal dispersion and the dependence of losses on the fiber length are also investigated for two different conditions of excitation.
