The Influence of Sublimated Aluminium Films on the Properties of Real Cd_x Hg_{1-x}Te Surface
Abstract
The electron properties of the Al-Cd_x Hg_{1-x} Te interface have been studied using conventional C-V, I-V measurements, spectral dependece of the photoconductivity, capacitor photolocomitive force and the photoelectromagnetic effect. A significant change of the spectral dependence of photoconductivity and the surface lifetime of charge carriers in Cd_x Hg_{1-x}Te samples covered by aluminium films has been revealed. The results obtained were interpreted by the influence of space charge region (SCR) on the photoconductivity.
