Abstract
Methods of Multifrequency dual-polarization remote sensing are proposed to estimate soil moisture and surface roughness parameter from backscattering data. The soil parameters are computed using a small perturbation model and joint processing of dual-polarization data. The radar measurement results at frequencies 10 and 35 GHz are discussed which shol correlation between \sigma^{\circ}_{vv}/\sigma^{\circ}_{HH} ratio and soil erosion.
