Millimeter Wave Communication Systems

Abstract

Millimeter wave systems have a lot of important and unique properties that will make them very useful. Commericial mm wave systems have been developed with information transmission rates of 2-150 Mbaud in the range 18-35 GHz. Tropospheric communication systems are also being developed. So far, good results are reported on 3.5mm and 8 mm wavelengths.
