Scattering From Slotted Cylinder Near the Planar Interface Between Two Media
An analyses of scattering from perfectly conducting unclosed circular cylinder (UC) near the planar interface between two half spaces of dissimilar electromagnetic properties is presented. The cylinders axes are parallel to the interface, the slot in the cylinder and its orientation angle are arbitrary. The structure is excited by the plane wave. The frequency dependances of the cylinder scattering cross-section and radiation resistance of the magnetic current source are calculated. The far field patterns are presented.
