Abstract
Satellite data on cloud cover and Earth's radiation balance (ERB) are of prime importance to studying climate variations and, jointly with other findings, the transformation of different forms of energy in the atmosphere, ocean and on land surfaces [1]. ERB data can be applied towards analysis of climate variations in space and time, factors of radiation in climate formation and feedback, but is especially usefully for determing cloud-radiation ratios.
