Abstract
The aim of this study is to determine the content and solubility of sodium in denture adhesives. Five denture adhesives were examined for sodium by spectrophotometry. 0bserved differences in sodium content and solubility were significant. The use of sodium-containing denture adhesives may be important for the patients who must restrict their dietary sodium intake. As a result of this study, we recommended some adhesives that exhibitis no sodium solubility or low percent of sodium solubility for hipertensive patients.
