GSH, GSH S-Transferase and Selenium Levels in Aflatoxin-B1 Treated Rat Hepatic Tissue
In this study, GSH, GSH S- transferase (GST) and selenium levels were determined in aflatoxin B1 (ABF1) treated rat hepatic tissue. Swiss-Albino rats were treated with AFB1 for eight weeks. AFB1 (1 ppm/week) was given to the first group and the second group was treated with AFB1 plus % 0.1 g phenobarbital (PB) per week. The increased GSH, GST and selenium levels were determined in both groups to compare the control group.
