Abstract

In a previous study we have isolated five known and a new diterpenoid alkaloids from the aerial parts of {\it Aconitum nasutum}. In the present paper the structure of a new and rather rare diterpenoid alkaloid aconasutine was determined by using 1D and 2D NMR techniques.
