Abstract
The aflatoxin production capacity on rice of 13 aflatoxigenic molds isolated from natural black olive samples was investigated. In addition, the aflatoxigenic Aspergillus parasiticus NRRL 2999 and Aspergillus flavus NRRL 6555 strains were used for comparison. In the study it was found that the total aflatoxine production of seven of the strains was 0,106 µg/g - 5,9 µg/g and that no aflatoxin production was detected in the other six strains.
