Abstract
The changes in nebularine production, protein bands with SDS-PAGE, total protein, total lipid, and fatty acid quantities in Streptomyces yokusukanensis ATCC 25520, which produces nebularine, a purine riboside antibiotic (9-§-D-ribofuranosylpurine), were investigated by incubating it at different temperatures. After incubating Streptomyces yokosukanensis at temperatures higher or lower than the optimal temperature, it was observed that the quantities of nebularine production, total protein, total lipid and fatty acids had changed. Some changes in the SDS-PAGE patterns were also observed.
