Scope of the Special Issue
This special issue invites high-quality submissions presenting groundbreaking research, in-depth meta-analyses, and comprehensive review articles in the biological sciences. The issue will cover both established and emerging topics, including molecular biology, biotechnology, regenerative medicine, precision medicine, synthetic biology, environmental sustainability, and agricultural innovations. We encourage contributions that introduce novel methodologies, interdisciplinary approaches, and their potential applications to advance research and address global challenges in these dynamic fields.

Submission and Review Process:
This special issue is primarily invitation-based, although authors whose research aligns with the scope and objectives of the issue are encouraged to submit their manuscripts. All submissions will undergo an initial screening by the Guest Editors to ensure quality and relevance. Accepted manuscripts will proceed to double-blind peer review, and authors will be required to revise their manuscripts based on reviewer feedback. The Guest Editors will recommend acceptance or rejection, with final approval granted by the Editor-in-Chief.

Authors wishing to submit review or opinion papers are encouraged to consult with the Guest Editors prior to submission to ensure alignment with the special issue’s objectives.

The Turkish Journal of Biology adheres to the guidelines established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Submissions will be assessed based on originality, significance, and contribution to the field.
