Abstract
The morphological structures and sculptures the of pollen grains of ten endemic Turkish Centaurea species have been studied in detail for the first time using light microscope. Both acetolysed and non acetolysed pollen grains were used in the morphological study. The pollen characteristics of the ten species studied are consistent with Wagenitz' Jacea type.
