Investigation on Pb, Cd and Zn Pollution from Traffic Using Asian Populus (Populus usbekistanica Kom. subsp. usbekistanica cv. 'Afghanica') in Kütahya City (Turkey)

Abstract
In order to determine the heavy metal (lead, cadmium, zinc) pollution which originates from traffic in Kütahya, (Turkey) the leaves of Populus usbekistanica Kom. subsp. usbekistanica cv. 'Afghanica' have been analyzed. Chemical analyses showed that the levels of Pb, Cd and Zn ranged between 0-32 mg/kg, 0.722-4.148 mg/kg, and 34.0-572.8 mg/kg dry matter, respectively.
