The Macrophytic Vegetation of Beyşehir Lake

Abstract

The macrophytic vegetation of Beysehir Lake in the southwest of Central Anatolia is analyzed by the "three-dimensional ordination technique" based on BRAUN-BLANQUET Method. The hydrophytic plant associations described in this region are as follows: Nupharo-Nymphaeetum albae (Nowinski 1930) Tomasz 1977 Myriophylletum verticillati Soo 1927 Ceratophylletum demersi (Soo 1928) Eggler 1953 Phragmitetum communis (Gams 1927) Schmale 1939 Typhetum angustifoliae Pignatti 1953 Scirpetum lacustris Schmale 1939
