Abstract
The epipelic and epilithic algae of Küçükgöl Lake were studied between June and September 2002. Fifty-five taxa (26 belonging to Bacillariophyta, 23 to Chlorophyta, 3 to Cyanophyta and 3 to Euglenophyta) were determined. Closterium lunula var. biconvexum, Cosmarium asphaerosporum var. strigosum, C. garrolense, C. rectangulare, Euastrum ansatum var. dideltiforme, E. denticulatum and E. pseudotuddalense are new records for the algal flora of Turkey.
