Abstract: Let G be a locally nilpotent p-group in which every proper subgroup is an NC-group. It is shown that G is itself an NC-group if either (i) the normal closure of every finite subgroup of G is a Chernikov extension of a CC-group or (ii) every proper normal subgroup of G is the union of an ascending chain of normal CCsubgroups.
