Special Issue on Cyber Security Challenges and Opportunities of IoT and Cyber-Pyhsical Systems in Quantum Era
With fast-growing deployment and usage of Internet of Things (IoT), the importance of cyber security is getting more and more important. IoT provides a framework to allow sending and receiving data and cyber-physical systems (CPS), a collection of IoT and information technologies infrastructures, aim to process, manage, and/or optimize data from key or critical infrastructures. However, data leakage and user’s privacy/security issues should be considered, especially with the maturing of quantum computing resources. Therefore, new security strategies and solutions for IoT and CPS should be considered and developed in the quantum world.
The purpose of this special issue is to present the new advances, challenges, and solutions in security and privacy research for IoT and CPS. A special focus will be given to quantum secure solutions and cyber security applications for IoT and CPS.
The topics of interest for this special issue include but are not limited to:
· Trust, security, and privacy for IoT and/or CPS
· Intrusion detection and prevention
· Feature selection and prediction for IoT and/or CPS
· Attack trees for IoT and/or CPS
· Security assessment of IoT and/or CPS
· Quantum secure cryptographic protocols for IoT and/or CPS
· Quantum secure data/key management in IoT and/or CPS
· Blockchain solutions for IoT and/or CPS
Keywords: Cyber security for IoT and CPS, security and privacy, postquantum cryptography
