Abstract
Erigeron akaydinii Günal & Semiz sp. nov., belonging to the Trimorpha Cass. (DC) section (Asteraceae), is described as a new species from Uludağ Mountain (Bursa, Türkiye). This study examines the diagnostic traits of E. akaydinii and related species, including morphological, palynological, and molecular analyses. Notes on the ecology, distribution, and conservation status of the new species are also provided, along with a diagnostic key for relevant taxa.
