Abstract: In the research, analytical determination of significant technical parameters influencing the specific ploughing resistance in conjuction with variable conditions was aimed. Considering four basic moldboard forms and their constructional features, comparative variation of parameters and their effects on specific resistance were examined. Further, appropriate form parameters for higher speeds that do not deform the required working quality were determined. In consequence, the prediction of ploughing resistance likely to occur in a given soil type were found to be a considerable factor for determining const ructional parameters of working surface and it's assessed that lessening some of these parameters could keep specific resistance in desired limits.
