Abstract: The electrical current in thin films obtained by the polymerization of acetonitrile in glow discharge on a heated substrate were investigated in order to determine the mechanism of electrical conduction. The results of the field dependence, sample thickness dependence of the dark conductivity, supported by the results of photocurrent measurements, suggest an exponential energy distribution of traps inside the band gap of the polymer.
