Abstract: Multicanonical ensemble approach to the simulation of frustrated systems under conflicting constraints is briefly introduced . Multicanonical simulations of the Hopfield model  of neural networks on moderate size lattices is presented. The energy, entropy and other physical quantities are easily calculable at all tempera\-tures from a single simulation. The phase diagram of the model obtained by approximate mean field calculations  is verified at all regions. The superiority of the multicanonical simulations to the usual canonical ones are also dicussed.
